MR. NIELSEN
Connor began building websites as a student at Berkeley High School (BHS) in his hometown of Berkeley, California. By his sixteenth birthday Connor knew he'd found his calling when The Jacket, the BHS school newspaper website he co-built, received the Columbia Scholastic Press Association's 2010 Gold Crown Award for Website Journalism.
Following Connor's junior high school year he spent a summer as an intern at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory where he developed an efficient and paper free travel reporting system that replaced a lengthy sixteen step process. Connor also programmed for the high school administration, and donated his time constructing and designing websites for non-profits.
Connor is a Berkeley High School graduate and is now continuing his education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in the Graphic Communication department.
Since March 2012, Connor has developed for Cal Poly Information Technology Services on several projects including the 2012 redesign of the entire university's web presence. Other projects include migrating the university's new theme from Drupal 6 to D7.
